Participation in any of the races of the Event is entirely at the Participant's own risk. The Organiser is not responsible for any damage of any kind suffered by the Participant as a result of taking part in the race, except where the damage is a direct consequence of the Organiser's intent. This exclusion of liability also applies to any possible damage caused by reasons such as, but not limited to, injury or death.

The Participant is solely responsible for taking out insurance to cover any damage caused by injury, illness or death caused by taking part in the Event. The Participant declares that they are aware that participation requires very good physical and mental health and declares that they are properly prepared to take part in the Event, having carried out adequate training for this participation.
 

The Organiser expressly and especially instructs the Participant to undergo any medical examination that is necessary to certify that they are fit to take part in the Event. The Participant remains liable to the Organiser for any damage they would cause to a third party, including another Participant, a volunteer, etc., as a result of any act or omission that is attributable to the Participant.
